Out To Lunch was formed in early 2025, with myself (fiddle), Jamie Wheeler (melodeon), Tim Normanton (banjo), Martin Landray (electric piano), and Luke Fowler (drums). 

Together we all have many years’ experience playing for dance, as well as dancing, including in the dance bands Woodpeckers, Grand Union, English String Band, and Pigeon Swing, amongst others, and the dance sides Bampton Traditional Morris and Redbornstoke Morris.

Our most recent booking was for Sidmouth Folk Festival in August 2025, when, amongst other events, the band played for the Monday lunchtime Anchor Gardens Ceilidh, with Nick Walden calling, on Tuesday were the 'pit band' for the lunchtime Volunteer Inn Traditional Song session, and in the evening were the house band for the Traditional Night Out at the Arts Centre, on Wednesday were guests at Folk Arts Acoustic, and on Thursday were one of the acts at the Acoustic Concert in the Old Dissenting Meeting House. Very enjoyable events all of them.
