Union Specific is Grand Union's last released CD, currently only available for download,  Grand Union was a well-respected and appreciated traditional English dance band. This six piece line up consisted of melodeon, two fiddles, banjo, percussion, and double bass. The Union Specific CD is a mixture of traditional tunes and recently written tunes, some written by members of the band. Here is a review of the CD on the Musical Traditions website.  Another reviewer, in the folk magazine Shreds & Patches, likened it to a cross between Flowers and Frolics and The Old Swan Band.
